The Radioactivity theme has been retired and is no longer available. If you previously used Radioactivity, your app will now use the Default Light or Default Dark theme depending on Light/Dark mode selected.

Use Android Light/Dark Mode – Toggle this on to follow the system appearance as per the device setting. This setting will use the last selected dark or theme when toggled. To change the theme, tap on the theme preview.

Even when a light theme is selected, certain parts of the app, like the Now Playing screen, still remain darker in comparison.

On Android, switching to a non-default app icon will result in there being two icons in your app drawer. This behavior is expected because adding alternate icons in Android currently requires creating a new one. You can certainly have only one icon show up on your phone’s home screen, however.

Show artwork on lock screen – This will show the currently playing podcast’s artwork on the device lock screen and also on connected Bluetooth devices, watches etc. Profile > Settings > Appearance > toggle ‘Show artwork on lock screen‘ on.

Use Episode Artwork – We support artwork that has been embedded into the audio file itself. Toggle this setting on to allow the app to use per-episode artwork from the downloaded file (if it exists). Profile > Settings > Appearance > toggle ‘Use episode artwork‘ on.

Advanced episode artwork settings – Tap this option to select if you want to see episode artwork in specific sections of the app such as Bookmarks, Playlists, and Up Next.

Refresh All Podcast Artwork – When artwork is stuck or hasn’t updated, tap this to refresh all your podcast images.

Use Dark Up Next Theme – When enabled, the Up Next queue will always use the dark theme; when disabled, the Up Next queue will match the current theme.

Use dynamic colors for widget – Toggle on this option for widget colors to change based on the device theme colors.
