You can delete user uploaded files from Pocket Casts.
Pocket Casts Plus members can choose to delete the files from the cloud or per device.
- Go to Files
- Tap on the file row
- Tap the trash/delete icon
- Delete from device (for non-Plus users)
- Plus users:
- For files only uploaded to cloud
- Delete from cloud (this will delete the cloud file from all of your devices, local downloads on other devices will remain)
- For files uploaded to cloud and downloaded on the device
- Delete from device (this will delete the file from this device only)
- Delete from everywhere (this will delete the locally downloaded file from this device, and the cloud file from all of your devices – local downloads on other devices will remain)
- For files only uploaded to cloud
To delete files in bulk, long press on any file in a list to activate the multi select option then:
- Select files and tap the trash/delete icon. Or,
- Long press again and choose from Select all above or Select all below then tap the trash/delete icon. Or,
- Tap the vertical ellipsis, tap Select all then tap the trash/delete icon.
- Go to Files
- Tap on the file row
- Tap the trash/delete icon
- Delete from device (for non-Plus users)

- For files uploaded to cloud and downloaded on the device
- Delete from device (this will delete the file from this device only)
- Delete from everywhere (this will delete the locally downloaded file from this device, and the cloud file from all of your devices – local downloads on other devices will remain)
- For files only uploaded to cloud
- Go to Files
- On the file row tap on the three dot menu
- Tap the trash/delete icon
- Confirm Delete (this will also delete the cloud file from all your devices – local downloads on other devices will remain)
