The Windows and macOS desktop apps for Pocket Casts include a Miniplayer. The Miniplayer pops out in a small window allowing you to control podcast playback while working on other tasks on your device.
- Play an episode to view the playback controls at the bottom of the screen
- Click the arrow icon at the top right corner of the player controls
- Click and hold down the Miniplayer to move it to the preferred area on the screen
- Click the X at the top right of the Miniplayer to close the pop-up
The Miniplayer includes minimal playback control options:
- Skip Backwards
- Play / Pause
- Skip Forwards
- Playback Scrubber
