If you find yourself accidentally scrubbing through podcast episodes from your device’s Lock Screen, you may want to consider disabling Lock Screen scrubbing. You can find the option by following these steps:
- Navigate to Profile > Settings > General
- Locate the “Player” section
- Tap on the toggle switch next to “Enable Lock Screen Scrubbing”
With this setting disabled, you will continue to have access to the skip forward/back buttons and the playback timeline will be visible from the lock screen. But the ability to scrub through the playback timeline will be restricted to the Now Playing screen within the Pocket Casts app.
This feature is currently only available in Pocket Casts for iOS.
