How to cancel a subscription

You can cancel a Pocket Casts Plus or Patron membership (subscription) at any time, and you will still have access to Plus or Patron member functionality until the end of the period for which you have currently paid.

It’s important to note that uninstalling the app on your mobile devices will not cancel your subscription. You must cancel the subscription on the same platform from which you purchased it.

If the subscription period has ended without renewing or resubscribing, your account will automatically convert to a regular, free Pocket Casts sync account. You can upgrade a regular account to a Pocket Casts Plus or Patron account on any platform, at any time.

If you purchased your subscription on your Android device through the Google Play Store, follow these steps to cancel.

1. On your phone or tablet, open Google Play Store
2. Check if you’re signed in to the correct Google Account
3. Tap the hamburger menu in the search bar, then Subscriptions
4. Tap Pocket Casts
5. Scroll to the bottom of the screen and tap Cancel subscription
6. Follow the instructions

If you purchased your subscription on your iOS device through the Apple App Store, follow these steps to cancel.

1. On your phone or tablet, go to Settings
2. Tap on your name
3. Tap on iTunes & Apps Store
4. Tap your Apple ID at the top of the screen, then tap View Apple ID – you’ll probably need to sign in with your Apple ID
5. Scroll to Subscriptions and tap
6. Tap on Pocket Casts and tap Cancel Subscription, then tap Confirm

If you purchased your subscription on our website, follow these steps to cancel.

1. Log in to the web player
2. Click on the Profile icon in the upper-right corner
3. Click on your email address to access the Profile screen
4. Click on the Cancel Subscription link
5. Follow the prompts

If you do not renew your subscription, the following will happen at the end of your current billing period:

• Your account will automatically convert to a regular, free Pocket Casts sync account. You can continue to use Pocket Casts sync across multiple mobile devices.
• All files uploaded to your Pocket Casts cloud will be deleted, but downloaded files on your mobile devices will remain.
• Any folders you’ve created will disappear, but they will reappear after you resubscribe to a paid plan.

You’ll continue to have access until the end of your current subscription period. Once the subscription expires, your folders will be removed.

You can see your folders again after you sign up for another subscription.
