If you’d like to look at episodes you’ve listened to recently, check out your Listening History!
Listening History displays the podcasts you’ve listened to on Pocket Casts in chronological order, with the latest episode at the top. This feature makes it easy for you to revisit and share your favorite podcast moments.
To view your Listening History on either the Android or iOS mobile app, follow these steps:
- Go to the app’s Profile tab.
- Tap “Listening History.”
The mobile apps will show the last 1000 episodes you’ve played.
You can view your Listening History on the web and desktop apps by clicking “History” on the app’s left-hand sidebar.
Alternatively, on the web app, you can directly visit this link to your Listening History.
The web and desktop apps will only show the last 100 episodes you’ve played. This is in contrast to the mobile app limit, which is 1000 episodes.
To quickly find an episode in your Listening History in the Android or iOS app use the search bar. Search results will show up to 100 relevant episodes from the Listening History only.
- Go to the app’s Profile tab.
- Tap “Listening History.”
- Type the keyword in the search bar.
- Tap the X icon to erase the keyword.
- Tap Cancel to exit Search mode.
If you are logged in to your Pocket Casts account, clearing Listening History on one app is enough. The change will then sync to your account so that it reflects on all your other devices as well.
It’s important to note that clearing Listening History is a permanent and irreversible process. It will also affect your year-end playback statistics like this one.

You can clear your Listening History on Android or iOS according to the following steps:
- Go to the app’s Profile tab.
- Tap “Listening History.”
- Tap the three-dot icon on the upper-right corner of the Listening History screen.
- Tap “Clear Listening History.”
- A dialog will pop up from the bottom of the screen where you can confirm that you want to “Clear Listening History.” It warns that “This action cannot be undone.”
- Tap “Clear All.”
To clear Listening History on the web and desktop apps, you can follow these steps:
- Click “History” on the app’s left-hand sidebar or directly visit this link if you’re on the web app.
- Click “Clear History” on the upper-right corner of the History screen.
The number of episodes you can view in your Listening History varies according to the device you’re using.
If you are viewing Listening History from one of the Android or iOS mobile apps, you’ll see up to 1000 episodes. However, on the web and desktop apps, you’ll only see up to 100 episodes.
There is no way to view more than 1000 episodes in Listening History.
There is currently no way you can view your full Listening History if it goes beyond 1000 episodes. 1000 episodes is the limit in the mobile apps. In the web and desktop apps, the limit is 100 episodes.
Yes, as long as you are logged in to your Pocket Casts account, your Listening History will be synced across devices.
Currently, there isn’t a way you can export your Listening History. If this is something you would like to see in the future, however, please let us know!
There is no option to remove single episodes from Listening History.
