Some podcasts have a fixed-length intro and/or outro that is repeated in each episode. They are all amazing, of course, but sometimes you just don’t want to hear the jingle for the seven millionth time.
With Auto Skipping you can configure Pocket Casts to automatically skip the beginning and/or end of each episode of a given podcast. Auto Skipping is available for all Pocket Casts users, including those with a free account.
- Navigate to the Podcasts tab
- Tap/click on the podcast you’d like to enable Auto Skipping for
- Tap or click on Settings (If you’re using the web / desktop player, Settings is accessible after clicking on the three dot menu
at the top of the episode list).
- Set Skip First to your preferred amount of time that you’d like to skip at the beginning of each episode for this podcast
- Set Skip Last to the amount of time you’d like to skip at the end of each episode for this podcast
To see how much time Auto Skipping has saved you, open 
Profile > Stats.
Note: These settings are specific to each podcast and will sync across all devices under the same sync account.
