Becoming a Plus or Patron Member: How to and FAQs

With a Plus or Patron membership, you can enjoy the full features Pocket Casts has to offer. You can view the benefits of having Plus or Patron status here.

This support article explains how you can sign up for a Plus or Patron subscription.

You can sign up for Plus or Patron through one of the following: the Pocket Casts website, Google Play Store, or Apple App Store .

To sign up for Plus or Patron through our website, you can follow these steps:

1. Open the Plans page of our website on your website browser of choice.
2. Select the plan you’d like to sign up for. You can choose the following characteristics for your subscription:
   • Tier: either Plus or Patron
   • Billing period: either Yearly or Monthly
3. Follow the prompts to finish the signup process.

To become a Plus or Patron member through the Google Play Store, you can follow these steps:

1. Open the Pocket Casts Android app.
2. Tap the “Profile” tab.
3. Tap the “Account” button below your account email address.
   • If you’re not signed in to a Pocket Casts sync account, you’ll need to log in or sign up for one.
4. Swipe left/right to view Plus or Patron benefits.
5. Choose the membership status you want to sign up for by tapping the “Subscribe to Plus” or “Subscribe to Patron” button.
6. A dialog will pop up with billing durations you can select.
7. Choose your preferred billing period.
8. Tap either “Upgrade to Plus” or “Upgrade to Patron.”
9. Follow the Google Play Store’s prompts to finish signing up for your subscription.

You can sign up for a Plus or Patron subscription through the Apple App Store by following these steps:

1. Open the Pocket Casts iOS app.
2. Tap the “Profile” tab.
3. Tap the “Account” button below your account email address.
   • If you’re not signed in to a Pocket Casts sync account, you’ll need to log in or sign up for one.
4. Swipe left/right to view Plus or Patron benefits.
5. Choose the membership status you want to sign up for by tapping the “Subscribe to Plus” or “Subscribe to Patron” button.
6. A dialog will pop up with billing durations you can select.
7. Choose your preferred billing period.
