This support article covers how you can change the email address associated with your Pocket Casts sync account.
From the Android or iOS mobile app, you can change your email address by following these steps:
- Tap the Profile
- Tap Account
- Tap Change email and follow the prompts
If you signed up for a Pocket Casts sync account using your Apple ID and the account is now associated with a private relay email from Apple, you can follow the steps below to change the account address:
- Enter your “@privaterelay.appleid.com” private relay email address into the “Forgot password?” form here.
- You should then receive an email to set a password on your account.
- Log in using your private relay email address and the password you just set.
- You can now follow the steps here to change your email address.
I’ve changed my account email address but I’m still receiving Pocket Casts emails in my old email address. What should I do?
If you’re still receiving Pocket Casts newsletters in your old email address even after changing it, please follow these steps:
- On the latest Pocket Casts email you received in your old email address, look for an “Unsubscribe” link. It will usually be at the very bottom of the email.
- Click “Unsubscribe” and follow the prompts to unsubscribe your old email address.
- If needed, get in touch with Pocket Casts support for further assistance.
I am trying to change my account email address to a new one. But, I no longer have access to my old email account.
If you are still logged in to your Pocket Casts account with the old email address, and you know your Pocket Casts account password, you can change your account email address in the app. Go to Profile > Account > Change email, then follow the prompts to complete the process.
