In addition to podcast or show artwork, some podcasts also use episode-specific artwork. This support article discusses how you can see episode artwork in Pocket Casts.

Supported Platforms

Support for episode artwork is available on the following platforms:

  • Web and desktop apps
  • Android app
  • iOS app
  • Wear OS
  • Android Auto
  • Android Automotive
  • CarPlay

Episode artwork is not supported in the Apple Watch app.

Display Episode Artwork in the Web and Desktop Apps

The web and desktop apps will always display episode artwork if it is available. There is no setting you need to enable. Consequently, there is no setting to turn the feature off.

Display Episode Artwork in the Mobile Apps

You can make episode artwork show up in the iOS or Android mobile apps by following these steps:

  1. In the Pocket Casts app, tap “Profile.”
  2. Tap “Settings,” which is the cog/gear icon on the upper-right corner of the screen.
  3. Tap “Appearance.”
  4. Make sure “Use episode artwork” is enabled. You’ll know that “Use episode artwork” is enabled if the toggle next to it is blue.
  5. The app will now display episode artwork whenever it is available.
