You can follow podcasts in any language by searching using the podcast’s native name or RSS feed URL in Discover.
Pocket Casts’ interface is currently available in Chinese (China), Chinese (Taiwan), English, German, Italian, Japanese, Portuguese (Brazil), Spanish (Spain), Swedish, Dutch, French (France), and Russian. The app decides which language to use based on your device’s language settings.
to switch the Pocket Casts Android app to another supported language, you can follow these steps:
- In your device’s Settings app navigate to System > Languages & Input > Languages.
- Tap on “Add a language” to select your preferred language.
- You can use the grabber icon to re-order the list of languages on your device.
On Android, Pocket casts will determine which language to use for its interface based on the list of languages you have configured — the language you’ve selected with the highest priority that Pocket Casts supports.
To switch the Pocket Casts iOS app to another supported language, you can follow these steps:
- In your device’s Settings > General > Language & Region, tap on “Add Language…” and select the language you wish to add.
- Then, still in your device’s Settings app, navigate to Settings > Apps > Pocket Casts, tap on “Language” and set your preferred language for the app.
