Pocket Casts has various tools to assist you in organizing your podcasts and episodes for a tailored listening experience.
You can easily manage podcasts you’ve followed from the “Podcasts” view.
The way you can manage a podcast’s episodes will depend on whether you are following the podcast.
Regardless of your follow status to a podcast, however, you can use the following tools to keep its episodes organized:
If you choose not to group or sort a podcast’s episodes, they will be listed as newest to oldest by release date, by default.
In addition to grouping and sorting, you can also use Smart Playlists and Playlists with episodes from podcasts you are following.
If you are not following a podcast, you cannot use Smart Playlists or Playlists to manage its episodes.
Instead, you can use the following views:
- Profile > Downloads in the mobile apps – shows all episodes you have downloaded or queued for download
- Profile > Starred in the mobile apps or “Starred” in the web and desktop apps – shows all episodes you have starred
- Profile > Listening History in the mobile apps or “History” in the web and desktop apps – shows all episodes you have recently listened to
The above views will show episodes regardless of whether you are following the podcast or not.
