The Pocket Casts podcast database includes over a million shows.
To find new podcasts, tap the Discover tab and browse the following dynamically generated sections:
- Featured
- Trending (Top 100)
- Popular
- You Might Like — recommendations based on your podcast listening.
- Loved by listeners of — suggestions based on what other users with similar tastes like.
- If you like — suggestions based on the metadata of other podcasts you enjoy.
In addition to the dynamically generated sections, we also have human-curated sections such as exclusive Guest Lists and Network Highlights.
- Tap the search icon on the home page or discover then enter the podcast name, podcasting network or podcast author
- Tap the search icon on the home page or discover then enter feed URL/RSS feed
Once you’ve found the show you’d like to follow, tap the + or follow icon to add it to your podcast collections.
You can play episodes without following a podcast, so feel free to stream or download episodes straight from Discover. Then you can follow when you know you want to keep up with the entire show.
- For podcasts you aren’t following – played episodes can be found under Profile > Listening History and downloaded episodes can be found under Profile > Downloads.
Pro Tip: If you have an iTunes link or a SoundCloud link, you can use this tool to extract the feed URL, then paste that into the search box.
