Pocket Casts makes it easy to listen to your favorite podcasts over Bluetooth, whether you’re using wireless headphones, a car stereo, a smart watch, or a home speaker. Once your Bluetooth device is paired in your phone or watch’s system settings, open Pocket Casts, press play on any episode, and your audio will stream to the connected device.

Our Pocket Casts app does not have an option to automatically resume playback in your car, so the feature is likely coming from your car’s infotainment system. Apps like Android Auto have an option to automatically start playback when connected to your phone, so if you last used Pocket Casts, the playback from our app would resume.
