Pocket Casts makes it easy to listen to your favorite podcasts over Bluetooth, whether you’re using wireless headphones, a car stereo, a smart watch, or a home speaker. Once your Bluetooth device is paired in your phone or watch’s system settings, open Pocket Casts, press play on any episode, and your audio will stream to the connected device.

FAQs
Why does Pocket Casts automatically start playing in my car as soon as I start the car?
Our Pocket Casts app does not have an option to automatically resume playback in your car, so the feature is likely coming from your car’s infotainment system. Apps like Android Auto have an option to automatically start playback when connected to your phone, so if you last used Pocket Casts, the playback from our app would resume.
Workaround (iOS): If you’d like to prevent this, you can enable Require Face ID in Pocket Casts’ settings. With this option on, the app requires Face ID authentication before it can open, which prevents it from launching automatically when a Bluetooth device connects — stopping the auto-play.
