Contacting Support from Reddit

In this guide

Pocket Casts team members sometimes visit the official subreddit, r/pocketcasts, and reply to posts when we can. This guide explains what Reddit is great for and how to reach our support team when your request is best handled through our official support channels.

Reddit works great for the following:

  • Quick questions that other listeners can help with, and
  • Sharing feedback and feature requests we can pass along to the product team.

The following cases can’t be handled on Reddit because they require sharing sensitive details and/or diagnostic information:

  • Account, subscription, billing, and refund questions,
  • Anything involving your email address or purchase details, and
  • Bug reports and technical problems.

If your Reddit thread or comment falls under any of those previously mentioned cases, we’ll ask you to contact us:

  • In the app: go to Profile > Help & Feedback > Contact Support > Get Support. This automatically includes your account and app details, which helps speed things up.
  • If you can’t send a message through the app, you can email us instead.

In either case, please include the following in your message:

  • A link to your Reddit post or comment, and
  • A short description of your issue.

In some cases, you might receive an automated reply from our AI assistant. If that happens, please make sure to reply with a link to your Reddit thread or comment. A member of our support team will take it from there.

We don’t provide support through Reddit private messages or chat. For anything account-related, please contact us through the app or by email so we can verify your details and help you securely.
