Sonos communicates directly with the Pocket Casts servers. So, if certain podcasts are not showing up in Sonos, it may be that you followed those podcasts on your mobile app while logged out of your Pocket Casts sync account. As a result, no follow information was sent to our servers. To remedy this, here are some steps you can follow:
- On your Pocket Casts mobile app, make sure you are logged in to your sync account in the Profile tab and that there are no errors there.
- While still on the mobile app, unfollow the podcast you do not see on Sonos.
- Re-follow the podcast.
- Head back to the Profile tab and click “Refresh Now.”
- Check if the podcast now appears in Sonos.
Sonos S1 controllers don’t support the latest security standards and fail to fetch content with many redirects. This issue occurs with other apps as well. The solution would be to upgrade to the S2 controller if your device is compatible with S2.
